I am very sleepy this morning. I didn't sleep so good last night because mommy was tossing and turning. At one point she even got a little mean and said "Fremont! Get your butt out of my face!" You don't ever hear me complaining when her butt is in my face do you? I jumped off the bed and decided to prowl around until she fell asleep.

I passed Percy in the hallway, on his way to mommy's room. I gave him a low guttural growl to warn him about mommy's mood, but he just breezed passed me like the clueless idiot he is. I watched him jump on the bed and mommy pulled him against her and snuggled him. WTF?! His butt stinks too, but mommy says mine is worse. I have no idea why she would want him to be that close to her, but he was sure to look back at me over his resting paw and give me a little brother wink.

I'm gonna go catch up on sleep now.

I was alone most of the day yesterday, which is awesome. Oh sure Percy was here, but I was able to lay in my kitty bed all day and he didn't bother me because he was in the other room on the couch with the warm blanky. I don't mind him having the blanky, though, because I like the kitty bed better.

I thought mommy might never come home and turn on my water. When she finally got here, she smelled funny...like shampoo and hairspray...gross. She briefly turned on the water for me. Then she made a turkey sandwich and didn't share any with me (or Percy.) Next thing I knew she was gone again! When she came back this time, she brought us a present - a plastic bag! She even left stuff inside it that we could destroy when trying to nest. Awww...

Mommy left us again! She went off and let her friend stay at our house. He is ok, I mean, sometimes I even kinda like him. But he is not Mommy. Percy wanted to sleep in the bed with him (who knows why) and when I got in the bed Percy just gave me that dumb look and so I decided to sleep in the den while mommy was gone. (Let's face it, Percy always has that dumb look on his face.)

She was only gone a few days, though, and when she came back she turned on the water for me first thing. I hope she doesn't leave again anytime soon.

Percy got us in trouble this morning. As I've mentioned before, mommy sleeps too late in the morning. She doesn't get up until, like, 6:30, so Percy and I have to get up and eat and get our water earlier than that.

We got up around 5:30 this morning and realized mommy had left a special treat for us in the living room. First of all, it was a plastic bag - one of our fave toys! Secondly, it had a fresh bag of kitty food in it! I told Percy we should wait until mommy opened it, but he said "nah" like little brothers do and just chewed at the food bag until he got it open. Then I couldn't help but eat that fresh, yummy kitty food.

Unfortunately, in the midst of our feast, mommy woke up and chased us away from the food bag. She even put the food bag into a closet and closed the door. The nerve! She seemed really ticked off, by the way she was stomping around and saying "I can't believe you guys!" But it was good that we woke her up early, cuz she turned on the faucet for me so I can have my water.

Gift for Mommy

It took forever yesterday for mommy to turn on my water stream when she got home - I was dying of thirst! She finally turned it on and I drank and drank. Then I started feeling kinda sick so I went to my bedroom (mommy calls it her bedroom because she doesn't understand that it's really mine.) I laid down for a moment when suddenly I was sick so I vomited big wet chunks of water-infused cat food all over the bed. Felt much better afterwards as usual.

Mommy didn't see it until almost time for bed. She yelled at me and took my blanket away! She washed it and got this awful flowery smell all over it and put it back on my bed. The nerve! The one saving grace was that it was nice and warm when she put it back on the bed.

Percy is an idiot. He just watched the whole thing and didn't even come to my defense when she yelled. He always takes her side. Then he got up really high on top of the kitchen cabinets - he likes to do that because he knows I can't jump up there. Then he just stares down like a king on his thrown - ha!

It Must Be Christmastime

Yesterday was awesome! Mommy went to the store with her man friend and got a fake Christmas tree for us. She put it up last night so that we could start playing with it. She also put this yarn thing around it so we could claw that. I can't wait until she puts presents under the tree so we can chew off the corners.

Maybe the best part was the box that they tree came in. She obviously got that too especially for us. Unfortunately Percy's been hogging it since it came through the door. I think that stupid cat from next door must have heard about the box because she came over too and stood on the front porch. I stared at her and made dragon kitty noises until she went away.

I am so angry with mommy. She left yesterday without filling up the water bowl. The water bowl is my back-up for when I can't have fresh running water from the tap. I need the bowl filled twice a day because my stupid brother sticks his litter paw down in it and then licks it. Gross! Luckily, she came home early from work and refilled it. She was sniffling and sneezing and said she was sick. That's still no excuse!

Trip Notes

Mommy has this friend that keeps coming to the house and disrupting my routine. I really don't appreciate it, so I threw up all over the bathroom rug this morning. He doesn't seem to like me much either. I try to bite him every time he touches me - gross. Get your greasy hands off me mister! Only my mommy knows how to pet me.

A few weeks ago, mommy went away for work. She let him actually stay here, in my house. She told him what he needed to do, but he wasn't as good as mommy. For example, when he turned on my water he made the stream too wide, and it kept hitting my head and making me wet. And he didn't clean out the litter box often enough. It must be fresh litter, at least every other day.

When mommy came back from her trip I didn't speak to her for a full 24 hours. I had to calm myself and prepare to forgive her for leaving us. Percy didn't care she was gone. Oh sure he missed her, but he seemed to like this other human. Don't ask me why.

Rain Rain Go Away

I'm so glad it stopped raining. It wasn't nearly as fun on the deck with the rain spraying my beautiful face. Last night I sat on my catnip cigar for awhile, then licked it for a few hours. I love that thing!

It was cold last night, so mommy let us snuggle up really close to her and I didn't move all night. Well, I didn't move until 5 this morning when it was time for her to get up and turn on my water. Percy stayed in bed - he's so lazy. I don't know why he doesn't drink fresh running water. While I was drinking I heard mommy in the bedroom talkin' sweet to him. Whatever. I'm sure she just did that to make him feel good.

Yesterday mommy didn't leave enough food for me. (I guess that means there wasn't enough food for Percy either.) We were both starving by the time mommy got home. I thought she would never feed us again. Once the food bowl was filled up, Percy tried to get in front of me! The audacity! There's only one alpha cat in this household and that's me. I flattened my ears and did "dragon kitty" sounds until he left the food bowl.

I ate and ate until it was time for me to throw up. Then mommy's "friend" said I was fat. Excuse me?!?! I am very healthy, and making sure I have enough energy for this cold weather. I am certainly NOT fat.

I finally let Percy eat when I was good and done grazing over the food bowl. I wish he would just disappear from the house.

Yesterday Mommy let me sit on the screened in porch for a long time. I love it out there, unless the stupid dog next door is barking. I took a bath in the sun and then rubbed my back all over the wood of the deck. Unfortunately, she let Percy out there too, but I just ignored him and pretended like I was by myself.

Last night, Mommy and I were trying to go to sleep and Percy was running around the house like a maniac. I hope he knows that makes him look stupid. It was obviously not time for playing mousey. He finally came to bed but I couldn't get comfortable until I knew his final whereabouts. I also wanted to make sure he didn't try to sleep in my kitty bed.

Oh! I almost forgot...Mommy found my catnip cigar. It was under the bathroom sink. I was in kitty-heaven and licked and rabbit kicked it for almost an hour. I highly recommend getting one of these for the kitty in your life: click here.

I'm off! It's time for me to take my 10th bath of the day.

Little Miss Demanding

In Fremont's Own Words...

I am soooo good at manipulating mommy. This morning around 5 a.m. I started licking her face. Hello, we've been sleeping quite long enough and now it's Water Time. Get up and turn on my running water!

Mommy must have been really tired because I had to lick her and then start stepping on her face for her to wake up. Finally she got out of bed, accidentally rolling onto my brother (hee hee) as she did. She mentioned it wasn't time to get up but it was. It was awesome because she left my stream of water on for another hour!

I can't stand my little brother, Percy. He does everything in his power to annoy me. He likes to swat at my butt while I'm trying to drink my water. Sometimes when I'm really annoyed with him I drink a whole bunch of water then make myself throw up in mommy's office. She should never have gotten him.

I have big plans today...will be napping from 8-11 a.m., then lunch, then napping until mommy gets home to turn on my water and let us on the deck. I may look out the window some, if Percy isn't in my spot again. Otherwise you can probably find me in the kitty bed.
